The cabinet itself is actually very simple to build: it’s pretty much constructed like any other base cabinet, just with a sink dropped in instead of a countertop. Speaking of sinks, I would not recommend a concrete sink. It proved to be nothing but frustrations because it was not straight and level. (I don’t know if they are all like that; it may have just been the specific one I bought.)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis vanity is designed for a non-overflow sink which takes up less space than an overflow sink. If you use an overflow sink, you’ll probably need to eliminate the top drawer. I recommend purchasing your sink and measuring it carefully  before cutting any lumber.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince this will receive a lot of use, I wanted the drawers to operate smoothly and withstand repeated opening and closing, so I used the BLUM full-extension, soft-close drawer runners. They are very expensive, but I feel like they are worth the expense here. There’s a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to install them, but after you figure out the first one, they are pretty easy.
